Here is an example of such a place.......a tiny deck off a guest room. This client removed the guest room's double window and installed a sliding door to the deck. With a trellis and a flowering vine for privacy, a chair and a small table for coffee or a drink, a little "island" of privacy was created!
Pillows and a small, colorful rug could be added for ambiance.
