An area rug beneath the dining table should extend at least two feet beyond the table's dimension in each direction. What you don't want is that whenever you pull out a chair that the legs get caught in the rug.  We hope you'll be enjoying many dinner parties in your pretty dinning room!

DON'T SKIMP ON CURTAINS!
It's important that curtains are measured, designed and sewn correctly.
If you can't afford them right now, put up bamboo blinds or leave windows bare until you can have the real thing.

The layout of a kitchen can be the deal breaker for whether or not you buy a house.  

* Enhance the look of your kitchen by creating a layout that's imaginative as well as practical.  And, consider adding great modern-looking accents such as beautiful lighting.

*Try having both solid and glass door front's so you can show off your china and give more depth to the space.

*High gloss cabinet doors give your kitchen an expensive look without breaking the bank.  You will probably have to polish the surfaces more often, but you will have a glamorous look!

*If you need to make your kitchen look larger, you can have darker cabinets at the base and white or light colored ones at eye level.  Your kitchen will look much wider.  

We spend so much time in our kitchens with family and with friends.  So, why not make your kitchen beautiful!

Please do not put all of your accessories out all at once in a room.  Edit, edit and edit your accessories!  Think of accessories as the finishing jewelry in a room.  You do not put all of your jewelry on at once when you accessorize your outfit when you dress.  You can always ROTATE your accessories seasonally, for example.
